In order to raise the intelligent level of the snow sweeping machine, reduce the labour intensity of snow sweeping, this thesis analyses and researches the state and development of sweeping snow machines both at home and abroad, has designed the mechanical structure of snow plough matched with the real need of work, and develop a control system with 89C51 as core, enable snow sweeping vehicle guiding automatically.Ultrasonic sensor is used in this control system. After 40kHz impulse two down-leads import, that piezoelectric activator and resonance change to mechanical oscillations, using taper radiator make ultrasonic oscillate signal forth beam out, when meet stumbling block it can be echo, after been received, via sound and electricity conversion action it become to electricity signal, then input signal amplifier, drive the administer to action, make a signal that jump to zero, which as a interrupt signal input 89C51 to process.89C51 is selected to be the core of the control system, and the hardware, power supply, software of the control system are deeply analyzed.
