Study On The AC Voltage Regulation Method And Controller Of HV-IGBT

Mechanical motor such as pumping units used in the oil field or mine often works inthe state of low load,which makes induction motor in low efficiency and electric powerenergy greatly consumed and wasted. In order to solve the problem, this paperadvance using IGBT&special drive circuit to develop a set of AC regulatorenergy-saving control device based on PWM control and real time power factorcriterion. This paper have learned meaning and practical value. According to the control demand of 1140V motor and on the basis ofdiscussing the working principle of AC regulation, the main circuit of ACregulator, hardware of controller and the drive&protection circuit of IGBT are designed.The arithmetic of PWM chop AC regulation and the method of data processingare presented also. The control board and control software of AC regulatorare developed ,etc. Simulation and calculation indicate that it is feasible for thearithmetic presented and the circuit designed.
