Realization Of The Three-Dimension Cartoon In Engineering Drawing Courseware Based On VR

VR-based multimedia CAI courseware is the product of the combination of CAI and VR technology. It will become the main direction for Web-based multimedia instructional CAI courseware. While among the design of the "mutual engineering drawing courseware based on network", the use of VR to realize the movement of the three-dimension model is a problem necessary to solve. And it also is a preceding task in the development of the long-distance education of engineering drawing.This thesis introduced the history and basic concept of Virtual Reality and the present application and basic design idea of VRML on Internet. This thesis discussed how to achieve the dynamic Virtual Reality by VRML on mechanical graphic CAI courseware.This thesis discussed the interaction between VRML and Java programs through the Script node and how to realize the interaction. It included how to get data in VRML scenes through Java program and how to transfer data from Java to VRML scenes.The innovation in this thesis included the following points:1. Diminished the size of the VR cartoons in a great extent, and made the cartoon of the three-dimension models easier for show on Web.2. Solved the problem of waiting and breaking down in the traditional AVI files.3. Realized the mutual rectification of the three-dimension models.
