Until now, There are many studies about dynamic optimization for the determinacy structure, that is to say, the structure's parameters and loads this paper both are determinate. But in true-life, many factors have its randomicity. So traditional method isn't fit the request in engineering.In this paper, the dynamic optimization for the Foundation of Steam Turbine-generator under random loads is discussed. For practical problem, the QJDU-C program (C language) is developed and improved. (1) Substituting transfer subspace iteration for the subspace iteration etc. (2) A new model based on reliability is presented. Two target functions are considered: the structural weight and maximum the forced vibration amplitude. The types of design variables are considered: the sizing variables and the co-ordinates of the nodes of the beams and columns. The optimum problem is solved by the sequential linear programming. (3) Three numerical results of engineering examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method, and an important project of "tenth Five-Year Plan" is included. The numerical results show that the proposed method is feasible, it has a good accuracy and efficiency.
