With the gradual application to civil construction of blasting technique ,more and more people come to focus on harm to structures caused by blasting vibration .In the past,we regard particle velocity as a standard to evaluate damage to structures, however,the standard can not gradually meet the need of safety in blasting because of its unilateralism.Therefore ,the paper aim at the factors of blasting seismic wave , wholly explaining dynamical action of sesimic wave to structures ,and provide some advice to control damage caused by blasting vibration .As we all know that swing,frequency and duration are three factors of natural seismic wave,many seismologist have done much in-depth research about them and obtained plentiful theoretical results.However,study about blasting seismic wave was still in a trial phase,and correlative literature was very limited.By studying we also found blasting seismic wave was similar to natural seismic wave in some extent, therefore,the paper use correlative ways and theories in seismology to analyse the characteristic of blasting seismic wave and the harm caused by basting seismic wave to structures,and so that we could find some rules.Due to the particularity of the blasting seismic wave ,the paper firstly introduce formation and categories of seismic wave and the way how to gather andpick-up signal of blasting seismic wave.in addtion , it also introduce two ways--frequency spectrum and wavelet theory to dispose and analyse the signal. And then the paper summarize characteristic and spread rule of blasting seismic wave based on vibration test of Xiao Wan power dam in YunNan,and ulteriorly amend experience formula through regress analysis.In order to directly show response of structures to blasting seismic wave,the paper adopt spectrum analyse module of ANSYS to reckon structural response through module expansion and fold combined with vibration spectrum.Finally ,the paper discusses structural response to blasting seismic wave through constructing ideal model base on three factors.By studying,we could know structural response of building to blasting seismic wave is not only relative to intensity of blasting vibration, but also to seismic frequency and characteristic of buliding and groundsill, so we should treat in different ways in practise because of difference made by blasting seismic wave to different structural types.The conclusion shows the characteristic of structural response in blasting vibration in a certain extent.and it was proved to be reliable in engineering practice.so it could be a reference manual for blasting engineering.
