Downward belt conveyor is an important transport devise of the mining production. It's movement in stable and safety is important to ensure the mining to operate with frequently, safely and efficiently. Limited its speed and braked its speed is a key technique to ensure its stable movement. At the same time, braked downward belt conveyor's speed is one of research subject for the adhesive tape conveyors. In this thesis introduced the braking technique of downward belt conveyors' development actuality, and it mainly researched in hydraulic braking system of downward belt conveyor based on fuzzy control. With the hydraulic braking system in downward belt conveyor can improve the reliability, and give a great assure in mining safety. In this thesis the mechanical models and the mathematical models are established based on the prototype of the hydraulic braking system on downward belt conveyors which aimed at its system configuration, working principium and function character. The character of the models are simulated dynamically based on the simulative software Simulink the component of MATLAB. Then received the direct ratio relation between the variable pump's braking moment and the imports-exports press errand and the eject quantity in the hydraulic braking system of downward belt conveyors. It can make stepless adjustment in need. With the apply of the braking decelerate in downward belt conveyors,the braking moment which produced by the hydraulic braking system will be reduced in gradually. This thesis used the fuzzy control theory to control the hydraulic braking system of the downward belt conveyors by. Take the running speed of the downward belt conveyors and the pressure of the hydraulic braking system and the control current of the pressure compensation electricity-liquid proportion throttle as the input or output variable language of the fuzzy control. With the using of the fuzzy control theory,these physics variable will be switched from physics precise field to language fuzzy field. And the variable cost of the fuzzy controls input or output language and the subjection function will be established. After the fuzzy discursion,we will have the control formula table of the fuzzy control,through which we can operate the hydraulic braking system of downward belt conveyor. The thesis put forward the software and the hardware scheme of the fuzzy control in the hydraulic braking system of downward belt conveyor at the same time. Fuzzy control has the obvious model without dependent object. It has stronger adaptability and well robust and efficiently linear control. Controller's parameter can conveniencely manage, and it has a simple structure. It is easily to realize by the software and hardware, and it has intelligent and self-study nature. The use of fuzzy control to the hydraulic braking system of downward belt conveyors is very realize, and avoid mass task in established exact mathematics model which in used traditional control.
