| Since the competition in the world market for manufacturing industry has been intensifying tremendously in recent years, the concurrent mode has already been widely applied to the development of products to shorten the time to market in domestic and foreign enterprises, and also the network-based collaborative design has been the research focus of contemporary integrated manufacturing system. With the fast development of the information and network technologies, to reduce the cost of communication, consultation and cooperation among enterprises, many of them start to carry out the distributed collaborative product development and design along with partners, suppliers and customers, and comprehensively utilize the knowledge, resources and technologies among enterprises. Aiming at the quick changes of market and requirements of customers, the enterprises manage to promote their competitive ability by shortening the time to market.As a new product development mode in modern design community, CSCD (Computer Supported Collaborative Design) has already attracted extensive attention of the academia and business community all over the world. With the development of PDM (Product Data Management) technology, the integration of CSCD and PDM technologies has already become the development trend of the product life cycle oriented collaborative design technology.Aiming at the collaborative design system based on PDM, this paper investigates into the relationship between PDM technology and collaborative design, and establishes a PDM-based collaborative design prototype system under the network environment.The main contributions of the thesis may be summarized as follows:(1) Through the analysis to PDM technology, CSCD technology and the relation of them, this paper describes the importance of PDM technology for supporting collaborative design system.(2) Analyzes the collaborative functions of Teamcenter and the architecture of PDM system based on B/S and C/S modes, proposes a new kind of PDM-based framework for collaborative design prototype system in Web environment.(3) By developing CAD system interface and customizing PDM system, realizes the interfacial integration of CAD system and PDM system, and therefore achieves the development of collaborative design system supporting the remote collaborative design.(4) Researches the CSCD-oriented human-human interaction system, and solves the key problems of real-time interaction in Web-based collaborative design bycomprehensively using the human-human and man-machine interaction technologies. |
