Expansion Of Appliance For New Testing Items Of Security Performance Based On Machine Vision And Test Platform

The method to apply machine vision to get display values to construct new test system fast by building image collecting and analysing experiment platform and to use Linux operation system to actualize machine vision has applied value.The image collecting and analysing experiment platform designed in this paper has fore outstanding characters.The integrated test instrument testing the security performance of appliance is a multifunctional test device, needing to be perfect in the way of adding new functions. There are two possible ways. One is redesigning the whole device to add new test parts. Another is to use available instruments to collect data to the integrated test instrument used to test security performance of appliance by machine vision with the advantage of building new test system in short time using existing technology and the disadvantage of needing special machine vision parts, which is advisable for the sake of scientific research of test system yet.To solve the question of expansion of integrated test instrument, this paper introduced the method using machine vision to get the display numbers of thermometer and recognised two_line displsy numbers of the thermometer with temperature and humidity fit together to combine it to the instrument system. Online experiment proved this method to be feasible and valuable.This paper also discussed the problems of image collecting, algorithm of image processing, realtime and etc..
