| Automobile impacting experiment are essential testing to verify safety of automobile, and dummies which are elementary tools of automobile impacting experiments play a key role in automobile safety business. Dummies are used in studying trauma of drivers and passengers in impacting between automobiles because they imitate human body's externality and interior.The calibration system for automobile obverse impacting dummy plays a key role on research of automobile obverse impacting dummy. Through the calibration with the automobile obverse impacting dummy, we can get many important parameters, and it can give us important references about crash experiment.The calibration system for automobile obverse impacting dummy is briefly reported in this paper. The thesis simply shows main parameters of Chinese people and the contrast between it and HybridIII dummy, the injury theorem and criterion in crash accident, the main situation of crash experiment. Through the introduction about sensor, amplifier, and signal processing system, the thesis shows the design dependence, main structure and work theorem of the calibration system. The calibration experiment's results tell us the calibration system's design is fit for practice.
