The support in the process of construction of deep foundation is a general difficult problem. It is more difficult under the complicated foundation conditions for the economic consideration and the assurance of the construction time period. Underground continuous wall was chosen as the support structure after comparisons with consideration of the geology and topology conditions in-situ for the construction of Nanshan part of C-IV in Dongshen water supply engineering. The structural internal forces are computed with zhang and m reaction methods on elastic foundations, and additional supporting structure internal forces are computed with the method of Equal Value Beam for a single support. The global stability is computed with the method of Sweden slice division. The results show that the internal forces from Zhang and m methods are not the same under different boundary conditions. For the reason of safety, the bigger one is used for the computation of the magnitude of the reinforced steel bar. From the view of the construction process, the design meets the requirment of the safety and the quality, and the engineering fee is under the controlling.
