The bending strength of plastic gear is main research content in my article. Most of studies are finished with designing program of gear model and ANSYS engineer analysis software .First, using Maxwell model to express the viscoelastic of plastic gear, because all of formulas and parameters about viscoelastic are set through Maxwell model in ANSYS software. Second, using Visual C++ to make a designing program of gear model, show the view of gear shape and gears mesh, it is more important that the program can output APDL command stream which ANSYS can receive and finish the analysis to plastic gear. After operation above, the result of bending strength of plastic gear and metal gear when static and dynamic is received. Comparing plastic gear with metal gear, finishing the research of the bending strength of plastic gear on condition that viscoelastic of plastic is considered. At last, using experiment to analyze the strain of plastic gear and metal gear on condition that they are loaded by static and dynamic burdens. Compared with the theory analysis result analyzed by ANSYS software, proving the accuracy of the theory analysis and making the theory analysis more reasonable.
