Currently, exploring the soft soil foundation on hign-speed railway, though arranged a great deal of thing to geophysical prospecting , cone penetration test, drill to explore etc,taking great quantities trial samples to carry on indoor test, usually because analyzing and understanding on the geological environment of districts is not enough , particularly the born age of soft soil, environment accumulated, peripheral region, geography, ancient geography, weather etc. is not enough to understand and analyse, only with the result indoor test to provide various physical and mechanical property parameter that is used to designed, which sometimes can't reflect the real natural attribute and engineering attribute of the soft soil completely, these errors and effects brought by taking designing parameters inappropriately usually exceed methods of computing, even exceed the influences brought by the projects of the construction. As a result, it is very important and actual meaningful for understanding the natural attribute of soft soil and providing various physical and mechanical parameter rightly to research, analyze and discuss the characteristics of indexes of the soil of the soft soil foundation.From the rest results of soft foundation projects in the line of high-speed Railway from Fuzhou to Xiamen, the physical and mechanical indexes, the regional distribution regularity and the relationship between these indexes were analyzed systematically. The technical characteristics of mild clay in coastal areas of the areas were illustrated well to provide the guiding for engineering constructions in future. This thesis sets out from the statistical characteristics of the physics mechanical indexes of the soft soil, carrying on the detailed research on the basic property of soft soil, putting forward the more complete and accurate data, providing the designing reference for choose to use, and can provide the basis for transfer the design of the credibility gradually. For different regions with different environments accumulated—the region of Fu-zhou and the region of Quanzhou-Putian, a great deal of physical the mechanical indexes were carried on related analysis of one-variate and two –variate, by statistical analysis, obtained a related relation diagram and equations, which can be applied in the line of high-speed railway from Fuzhou to Xiamen as the empirical formula. For the analysis of the spatial change orderliness of the line of soft soil, indexes of the soil of soft soil and consolidation characteristics varied by depth , soil parameter indexes of the line of shear strength possessed regional characteristics and the characteristics of soil parameters of the self-correlation distance in the researching area were more deeply analyzed, which make the analysis of the credibility more scientific . Making use of related parameters of the results of static cone sounding to devide each region of soil layer ,it are even applied the soil demarcation of the high-speed railway from Fuzhou to Xiamen directly; making use of empirical formula obtained by the index of static cone sounding, it can reckon physics and mechanical property parameter of the line; consolidation state of the soft soil ,in addition to use the OCR to judge, can also carry on discretion by test technique of static cone sounding. Judging the consolidation state of the soft soil by using the technique of static cone sounding can avoid disturbance caused by taking out soil and indoor soil tests, whose results can reflect real consolidation state of the soft soil.
