It is important to allocate resources,scheme machines and roads efficiently in real-time in Qingjiang River rockfill Dam's construction. And during management it is necessary to plan as a whole dynamic character of earthwork construction. So, user can analyze the information easily. Considering the characteristic of this project, a self-contained database is established to support the computation. This paper introduces popular earthwork techniques and brings forward optimized simulation-based scheduling modeling in disperse time. The scheduling method is 1)having the call first; 2) building excavation first, field stock then, field exploitation last ; 3)cheapest unit price first. At last, the result of earthwork design, the bid scheme and the dynamic character of construction are displayed by report forms,user interface and graph. At last, sum up possible parameter modification according to the speciality of earthwork computation module and construction status. This paper has introduced computer techniques into earthwork design and management system for cubic meter of earth and stone in Shuibuya rockfill dam construction. This system optimize and manage excavation,filling,discarding,exploitation and transportation in real-time. It is not only bring into play computer and network's advantages, but also improve construction management of the project. The whole object is to assure time limit for the project,control quality and economize investment efficiently.
