In this paper, the deformation law of soil under vacuum-surcharge preloading based on the real engineering data was studied, influencing factor of vacuum-surcharge preloading was studied as well using FEA method.Firstly, the data measured from field test, indoor test, vane shear test and static cone penetration test of vacuum-surcharge preloading were summarized.Secondly, on the basis of Biot's Consolidation Theory, the real engineering was simulated and analyzed with ABAQUS, a general purpose finite element program. Further more, the deformation influence of the factors under vacuum-surcharge preloading was studied, such as degree of vacuum, driving space between plastic drain plates, depth of plastic drain plates and coefficient of consolidation, etc.This paper discussed the strengthening result of ground consolidation and deformation influencing factor of vacuum-surcharge preloading, and the conclusion will be helpful for engineering design and construction.
