Great attention should be paid to solve the problems of the cracks of the bridge structures nowadays, so far as future. Here, we give an economical solution to strengthen the intensity grade of the structures, which is to apply some reinforcements on the original defect structures. I have been engaged in the highway bridge construction and maintenance works for years, and two years ago, I took part in a group to do some research works on the bridge structures, did some on site research works on the operation of several bridges, participated in some actives to proposed the designs and construction plans of maintaining and reinforcement of bridge beams, and also did some paper works internationally to give deep eyesight in the mechanism of coming into being a crack and its prevention measures. Finally, we gave different solutions in respect to diversified bridge cracks, insufficiency of the bearing capacity, and we got good result. Comparing to techniques and economics factor, I prefer to the new materials, new techniques, new methods. We employ carbonfibre to deal with the cracks of the beams and structures, to reinforce bearing capacity. It is economical, durable, and easy to apply to, so it has a bright future. This text starts on the bridge structures and technique status, points out the significance of analysis of bridge cracks. Then lucubrates on the category, cause, analysis step, mechanism and other aspects of cracks, and also gives some standpoints on the limitation of cracks. Finally, aims at solving the problems of bridge cracks and the structures reinforcement measures, mainly emphasizes on the characteristic, procedure, principle, design of the carbonfibre reinforcement measures for bridge structures. At last it gives some examples. I think we should mainly emphasize on cause of the cracks, presume the trend of them, not to fussy about every crack. For there is reasonable limitation for each crack before the structure break down. We employed carbonfibre in engineering had received favorable economical and social benefits.
