Through the introduction of the Flood Forecast System on Beiyunhe River andmany advanced techniques, some flood-warning methods have been studied in thethesis. First the development of flood forecast techniques, hydrologic models, runoffproducing and concentrating theories and mathematical prediction models in ourcountry and abroad have stated. On basis of the analysis of the current situation inBeiyunhe River, Several methods have been adopted to predict flood in the thesis.Calculated automatically with the aid of the computer, the prediction results are asgood as expected.
