The Double-scale Reading Of The Planning And Development Of The Qingdao Eastern New Center

The thesis is about the urban form transformation characters of the newly-built city centre district. The case, Eastern New Center is the new centre district of Qingdao city. The thesis is of guidable research. The research is sorted by urban scale and block scale, analyzing the course of Qingdao city and Eastern New Center urban form transformation. Purpose and opportunity, location and mode of urban scale, land utilization pattern and elasticity planning, traffic system of block scale are substance elements. By analyzing the substance elements, we know how the factors of politics , economy and culture act on the substance elements and cause Eastern New Center urban form transformation. Finally the thesis proposes the solution of two kinds of scale problems. The problems of Eastern New Center reflect deficiency of land utilization , urban planning, ect. in our country. Some rules and problems are also found in other newly developed area of city in China. We can overcome the difficulties through the theoretical system established by the thesis, which adds the significance of the research.
