The suspension is one of the most important parts of the automobile. The suspension system has important effects on the ride comfort and maneuvrable stability of the automobile. In the design and development of the automobile suspension system , the calculation and the analysis of the kinetics and the control strategy has been a very important task.Based on the ADAMS virtual model technology, the paper established the simplified geometric model of the suspension, and studied the effects of the suspension parameters when wheel vibrating. This method provides an efficient and advanced tool for developing suspension system.When we research the control strategy of the aerial active suspension, a two-degree-of-freedom suspension model is established firstly, and then we discussed the application of optimal control theory in the aerial active suspension system. Based on the MATLAB+SIMULINK software, we established the road vibration input model and aerial suspension control strategy, and then we have done the emulational calculation. Through the research of the result, we knew that optimal control of the aerial active suspension system improve the ride comfort and maneuverable stability greatly of the automobile.
