Aero engine turbine rotor design is a repeated process that is needed more times. There is much work to do to adjust the structural size. On the other hand, the work on creating the FEM model of a turbine rotor is very complicated when the finite element method is used to analyze the structural feature. The parametric method is used in the process of turbine rotor design and analysis in this paper. Due to the complexity of a turbine rotor, a new method based on graphics decomposition is presented to solve the parametric design of turbine rotors. Using UG as a plat, the parametric design of turbine rotors is established in structural design through characteristic model-design technology. Using ANSYS as a plat, the parametric analysis of turbine parts is established in structural analysis by parametric design language (APDL). The structural analysis is accomplished based on the parametric analysis system, and the results calculated indicate the parametric model established is effective. To improve the efficiency of design and analysis, a CAD/CAE integration system is needed. Based on the parametric idea, the linkage and integration between design and analysis are realized by transferring the communal parameters in this paper.
