The optimization of water supply pipe networks is such a complicated work that includes creating networks' model, calculating node demand, distributing initial flow, deciding initial imaginary flow, optimizing design, drawing pipe networks and isopiestic line. The universal program in this article puts its emphasis on working out the problem which has not been solved before by using method of node summation: some pipes' direction of initial imaginary flow is contrast to that of actual initial ones.There are three parts compose this universal program: optimal design, drawing of networks' outline and isopiestic line. The whole program makes full use of the computation ability and drawing advantage of VBA tool in Auto CAD, which avoids data transition in different type, makes integration of optimal design of water supply networks and drawing automation impossible, reaches the goal of quick design of water supply networks.Examples in this paper indicate the convenience of this universal program: shortens time on optimal design, avoids inputting plenty of data when drawing and enhances the efficiency.
