Study On Continuity Of Freeform Surface Fit Based On Reverse Engineering

Reverse Engineering is also called Converse Engineering, it is the converse process (Original product- Three-dimensional data-Product) of products' design and manufacture relative to the traditional design course (idea-drawing-product). Reverse engineering is the one of the hot issues in Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, and it is also the high degree applied new production open up technology. Commonly say, in the during of production sculpt, expect a few of fire-new conception design, mass of production designs have so many similar and successive characters, so firstly, we adopt the theory of reverse engineering to go along fast measurement key to the original product used as referenced object, then we can gain the three-dimensional data information of the product's surface, secondly use CAD software to establish the mathematical model, on the base of this, we can make modification and innovative design, so we can obtain the model that satisfied the requirement well. We use the model as the foundation of reverse manufacture. The using of reverse engineering technology can let us design new products quickly and shorten periods of design and manufacture.This thesis is mainly about applying the principle of reverse engineering and bringing such aims come true as follow:Analysis of surface remodeling and study of academic arithmetic, the best mathematical model and academic base of practical manipulation are obtained by analysis, compare and study.In reverse engineering ways of curve fit and surface remodeling are compared, optimal fit way and smooth way are used to achieve rang of smooth and precision.Use the CMM to measure the original product that has the freeform surface, gain so many and scattered disheveled data called"point clouds", adopt software of Surfacer to pretreat.Adopt software of Surfacer to fit curve and remodel surface, go on analysis of error and continuity, make model surface achieve rang of smooth and precision.Adopt UG software to create the entity about the geometric modeling, through seting the NC parameter. After postposition dispose, gain the NC program and entity model.Concretely study freeform surface product' modeling process and arithmetic, especially compare of surface continuity in process of modeling, and realize combine of academic arithmetic and practical manipulation and it also adds color to the advanced manufacture technology.
