With the reservoir water infused to Linyi Dongbeiyuan Water Treatment Plant in Shandong Province as a study case, the purifying treatment characteristics for polluted reservoir water by using the enhanced coagulation method with chlorine dioxide and a biological-active filter method was thoroughly and systematically analyzed in this dissertation.1. With chlorine dioxide, enhanced coagulation can be obtained, removal efficencies for turbidity, color and organic compounds algae and microcystins were increased. Effective removal of algae and microcystins can be achieved by adding chlorine dioxide with the dose of 1 mg/L in preoxidation procedure. Adding chlorine dioxide with the dose of 0.40.6 mg/L after filtration can disinfect suppress the disinfection by-products (DBPs).2. Odor, CODMn, NH3-N, NO2-N can be removed notably with the biological-active filter. And the turbidity can be controlled below 1.0 NTU.3. The left chlorine in the backwashing water had much more influence on the removal of ammonia, but less effct on the removal of CODMn.4. Technologies based on oxidation with chlorine dioxide and biological-active filter are the most valuable tools for improving the effluent quality in those plants with micro-polluted water for the sources, and these technologies have the advantage of investment.
