The semi-rigid composite steel frame-reinforced concrete infill wall structure (SRCW), which combines advantages of the two types of structures of steel frame and shear force panel, is considered as a new type of anti-seismic structure with brilliant future of application for its good structural behavior.Using a 3-D nonlinear finite element method (FEM), top and seat with web angle (TSWA) connections are analyzed , which provides reference to the simulation of semi-rigid connection adopting rotational spring in the overall analyses of SRCW structures.Based on the consideration of three combined nonlinearity of material, geometry, and state of connection, utilizing the FEM software ANSYS, this paper carried out amount analyses on the hysteric behavior of TSWA connections. Systematic analyses are put on the influential parameters of friction factor, bolt pretension, distance from bolt edge to angle back, diameter and grade of bolt, thickness of angle, height of beam, thickness of column flange and steel strength for the reaction of TSWA connections under cyclic loading. Tri-linear hysteric model is obtained. The hysteric modal provided in the paper is included in the FEM analyses for the SRCW structures and rational results are drawn, which can be referred as a foundation for further research on the priorities of SRCW structures.
