It is normal that there are lots of cracks in turbine vane, which effect the security of the waterpower station seriously. On-line detecting the cracks in the vane could estimate the state of the cracks such as when it would create or the trend of its development, after that people would make correct measurements to maintain the turbines according to the state of the cracks before it make serious disaster to people. So to study the system of online detecting the cracks in turbine vane is of great important to the safe running of waterpower station. With the development of the AE(Acoustic Emission) and computer technology, the online detecting is possible, so that people can find the cracks' generation, the extended trend and the signal's characters(in time and frequency domain).This paper mainly studied a high—speed data collection system based on DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology, and using this system to detect the AE signal of steel samples' cracks in lab and analyzed the signal (mainly include typical AE parameter analysisand FFT frequency_domain analysis). this paper counts for the importance and the necessary of this study at first, then narrated the actuality and application of the AE technology, DSP and CPLD (Complicated programmable logic Device) technology. The second chapter introduced the design of this system's hardware and software. The next chapter described the integration of the data collection system with the computer, then introduced the design of the PC analytical software. Finally it is the experiment phase, I use this data collection system to detect AE signal of steel samples pulled by tensile machine during the whole procession of the steel's crack's generation, spread and it's broken, and showed readers the experiment results at last.
