Ball mill is an important equipment widely use in domestic and abroad coal-burning power plant. However there are still some problems need to be solved during run. In many power plants, the key point is that ball mill can not run in automatic mode and maintain in the most economic contribution state. Actually, ball mill is a very complex multi-input and multi-output system, which owns the character that each of the inputs and outputs signal acts on other ones. The precise math matrix of ball mill is often difficult to get and non-linearity character are also shown. So general decoupling control is not advisable and senior decoupling control should be used in reference to ball mill. A new intelligent decoupling method-expert control combine with decoupling control is brought forward in this thesis, which is based on decoupling theory and intelligent control theory. The thesis presents the technology of the intelligent decoupling method applied in ball mill and design of a new control system style. Relation among the module, expert decoupling control algorithm and function are expatiated in details.
