The transient temperature field,mechanical stress field,thermal stress field and the combined stress field of rotor,drum and collecting receiver of 300MW Turbine unit are calculated by a FEM method in this paper. Also, the distribution patterns of temperature field,mechanical stress field,thermal stress field and the combined stress field and their changing law with time are analyzed. And their waste of fatigue life is calculated with the U.S. ASME criterion and Britain BS5500 criterion fatigue life designing curve. Based on FEM calculation and analysis results, mathematic models of stress and life monitoring are established, the application for stress and life monitoring is programmed with VB6.0, and it has been used in a big power plant as one of SIS modules.
