Operation of electric power system is the fundamental purpose of the electric energy quality standard conditions, continued to supply the user the power needed to maintain power system, the power balance, ensure the system economical operation. Power system frequency is one of the important quality index of electric energy. China’s regulations, normal operation when the frequency of power system should be maintained at50±0.2Hz range. When using modern automatic device, frequency deviation is not more than0.05~0.15Hz.For power requirements, introduces a frequency modulation function, serving most of the unit into a modulation function, only the extent and specification requirements of different. Further explanation of the effect factors to make an analysis, discuss the influence degree of condensate throttling.Condensate throttling for power plant automatic control presents a novel control technique, which is designed to reduce the valve throttling loss, enhance the unit economic benefits, at the same time can improve the stability of the control system. Study on the implementation of its function, to be able to participate in a FM function realization is a research topic.The so-called using condensate throttling technology is used in steam turbine, condenser and deaerator allowed level changes, change of condensate pump outlet valve opening degree, change the condensed water flow, thereby changing the quantity of extracted steam, temporary or release of a load, such as load, close the deaerator feeding valve, reducing the flow of condensate, thereby reducing low plus steam extraction amount, increase the amount of steam power, make the unit load increased, reducing load, and vice versa.This paper aimed at Daihai Power Plant as the research object, through testing to verify the condensate throttling technology to improve the AGC control of the likelihood function, and can participate in the primary frequency modulation function to make the research, and the conclusion is given.
