Boilers are important heat and power supply equipment in the national economy,and are diffusely in the electricity,chemical engineering,paper industries and so on.The water level of the steam pocket is an vital operating parameter,which stability is immediately affect the safe and economic run of the whole unit.When the water level is too low,if the water is not given in time,the boiler will burn dry or even explode;When the water level of the drum is too high,the phenomenon of “steam and liquid entrainment” will occur,too much steam will damage the turbine blades,affecting the safe and economic operation of the generator set,so the control accuracy requirements are very strict.This paper takes a 1025t/h boiler in a power station in Zhao Dong as the main research object,analyzes the working theory of the boiler and the main factors affecting the change of the ladle water level,and gain the dynamic equation of the boiler drum water level modeling by mechanism,summarizing the routine control plan of the boiler drum water level system,then carries out an in-depth analysis,proposes to combine the Particle Swarm Optimization and fuzzy control are effectively combined with traditional PID to design a fuzzy PID controller base on the PSO optimization,applying to the boiler drum water level three-impulse control system.To sovle the problems of non-linearity,large disturbances and variable model parameters of the boiler ladle water level system,which lead to more violent jitter in the response curve of traditional PID control in the production process,the purpose of introducing fuzzy control is to reduce chattering of traditional PID control at the stabilization point and overshoot of the system.On this basis,the parameters of the fuzzy PID controller are optimised using a particle swarm algorithm to compensate for the lack of systematicity and over-reliance on experience in the design of the fuzzy controller.The simulation results indicate that the control strategy put forward in this paper is better than the traditional PID control and fuzzy PID control in the aspect of accommodation time,overshoot and capacity of resisting disturbance,which the control effect is good.Finally,according to the control requirements,the I/O point table is collated,the software and hardware design of the boiler ladle water level system is carried out using the ZDCC JX-300 XP software,and the designed optimised control strategy is developed for the monitoring system to achieve remote management of the boiler ladle water level system,visualisation of the operation and reduction of manpower costs.
