In recent years, with the rapid development of power electronics technology, computer technology and automatic control technology, the electric transmission technology of historic revolution is coming. It is proved that, frequency conversion has excellent accent speed, a brake capability, high efficiency rate, great credit rate factor and joint electricity effect and other merits. It is generally acknowledged by the home and abroad that has a bright future, and then, become a trend that AC speed control replaces DC speed control and computer digital control technology replaces the analog control technology.Firstly the thesis introduced in brief the present situation and develop trend of the modern electric transmission technology, including the power electronics, microprocessor. Secondly, it describes the characteristic of the three phase AC motor's mathematical models and then, systematically discusses the modeling methods for an AC motor with the three phase reference frame and the static two phase reference frame that include the voltage equations, the flux linkage equations, the torque equations. The thesis introduces a three phase AC motor's mathematical model in static reference frame and a simulation system for AC motors to develop a vector control inverter system. In addition, it introduces the hardware module have been used in our control system and designed the hardware construction of the system. On the basis of speed-sensorless vector control system theories, the thesis introduces the method and the foundation of the software of digital signal processor, and the necessary explanation to vector control system is also given. The high precision digital speed control is a coming development direction.
