With the market-based reform of electricity of our country deepened gradually, The degree of attention to administration of power networks of electric enterprise is strengthened constantly and more and more attention is paid to the research and development of analysis and calculation. Power flow calculation and short-circuit current calculation is one of basic calculation of distribution network, and also the foundation of State Estimation, safety analysis, structural optimization and reconstruction of the network, voltage adjust and reactive power optimization, build and check of the load model, relay protection setting calculation, etc. Distribution system operate, plan and design must be based on the results of power flow calculation and short-circuit current calculation.According to the needs of reality of comprehensive automation of the distribution network and on the basis of analysis the existing method of power flow calculation and short-circuit current calculation, a set of universal visual distribution network power flow calculation and short-circuit current calculation software is developed. In the whole software system, the function modules of graphical drawing, distribution network topology analysis, power flow calculation, short-circuit current calculation share the same database, which guarantees the data consistency. The application to IEEE example and practical network indicate: the software has the advantages of friendly interface, easy operation, easy maintenance, easy expansion and stronger generalization, etc. the main research contents are as follows:(1) By adopting Object-Oriented Programming technology and taking Visual C++ as development tool, distribution network graphical drawing and parameters input module is developed. The graphical drawing module takes components (such as lines, circuit breakers and transformers) as basic drawing unit to draw the power system network and can operate the component by copy, paste, move, rotate and delete, etc.(2) With rational structure, good performance and stronger generalization, database module is developed. By graphical interface and message transmit, the user can input, modify and browse the database.(3) Combining the geometry knowledge and Broad First Search (BFS) technology used in artificial intelligence, distribution network topology module is developed.(4) Based on back/forward sweep method, distribution network power flow calculation and power line loss software is developed.(5) By adopting back/forward sweep method based on laminating principle,...
