Study On Integrated Control Technology For Automated Mechanical Transmission

With the development of automobile industry and electronicalindustry, Electronical technology, Computer technology and Automationtechnology are used more and more in automobile industry. In thisenvironment, Automated Mechanical Transmission (AMT) was born. Due toits high efficiency, low cost and easiness to manufacture, AMT is welcomedby more and more people. At the same time , the functions of AMT tendto be perfect . In this paper, the integrated control of AMT is discussedand used in the tested vehicle. And the control strategy have obtainedperfect result .In chapter one , the process of AMT development are brieflyinvestigated. The feature and configuration of AMT are also introduced.Based on these ,the future of AMT are forecasted. The control technologyof AMT is also simply investigated.In chapter two, The feature of the power train is brieflyinvetigated.Based on the tested vehicle, the feature of gasline issystematically introduced. The part loaded feature of the engine isobtained on the test rig. Furthermore, the spring of the clutch isintroduced simply. And the feature of the clutch is attained throughttest.Compare to the conventional clutch, the self-adjusting clutch (SAC)has some advantage.if the vehicle with AMT is equiped by SAC ,the shiftquality of the vehicle will be improved remarkably. finally ,the featureof the transmission is simply illuminated.In chapter three, at first, a mathemetic model of the power trainis founded. After that ,the optimal engagement rule of the clutch isbriefly introduced.and points out the fators to effect the rule. ThenThe throttle control process is simply illuminated. Based on these, thecontrol strategies of the engine are systematically analyzed. In thetested vehicle, the throtlle of the engine is controlled by eletricity.
