Based on the claw ditch topography in the West China mountains, embankment traverse & longitudinal difference of soil height and intensity of difference soft soil, it is studied about highway failure, landslide mechanism. Based on Sichuan freeway from NanChong to Guang'An of claw ditch topography, for changeable height of soft soil, steep slope embankment, effective embankment squeezing technique, pressing control index and method, embankment differential settlement, by experiment, monitoring and analysis , reasons of claw ditch topography embankment are given out. By numerical analysis, protect measurement and justified technology parameter are held forth. And it proves out prospective construction achievement of claw ditch topography.The innovation points show major technology of high fill soil, large settlement, traverse & longitudinal difference, numerical analysis method (RPFPA) based on fracture, damage &consolidation of roadbed and pavement.
