Research And Implementation Of Network Model Of Intelligent Community Based On CORBA

This paper analyzes current embarrassment that the intelligent community is suffering from, contrasts three popular distributed object technologies, and brings forward a CORBA-based solution to the intelligent community.First, facing keen competition for interoperable standard on smart equipment, this paper tries to stop a dispute about this issue using CORBA. Accordingly, in this paper we put forward three-tier to standardize smart equipments, and emphasize the need for defining their domain interfaces.Second, through classifying smart devices in home, a CORBA-based home-network model for the smart home is given, and then it is extended to the whole of the intelligent community.Finally, in order to simulate the intelligent community functionally, a system with CORBA framework is designed. In this system, some functions such as equipment monitoring locally or remotely, communicating by short message, are implemented successfully. In addition, aiming at other functional requirements-for example, plug and play, event filtering, remote intelligent maintenance, real-time applying and so on, relevant approaches are given too.
