| With the development of Reverse Engineering Technology andRapid Prototyping Technology, it plays an increasing important role increative product design and shorting product development lead time.But because of the critical demand for technology and equipments,more and more application of reverse engineering and rapid prototypingis done in remote module. To accelerate the application of reverseengineering technology and Rapid Prototyping technology and thedevelopment of information intelligence, it's urgent affair to make asystem to fit for the needs of the remote service mode.The service system provides a collaborative productionenvironment for users and services bureaus and enables the share ofmanufacturing resource. So, the goal of rapidly responding to marketand saving the costs of manufacturing could be achieved.The whole integrated frame of Tele-manufacturing ServicePlatform of Rapid Prototyping and Reverse Engineering is set upsystematically in this paper,and respective functional modules aredesigned. Key problems in the system are presented and analyzed,andcore technologies used in the system are discussed in detail. Threespecial functional modules ——Client Service Module, PartnerEnterprise Module, Service Bureau Administration Module are built up.Database is the foundation of the whole system, system requirements,conception layer, logic layer, physics layer and database operation andmaintenance of the Demonstration System are designed and analyzed inthis paper, and a database on the platform of the Microsoft SQLSERVER 2000 is upbuilt for Virtual Service Bureau. The systempromises a high potential to speed up the product development of smalland medium sized enterprises. As a result, the implementation of such asystem will represent a fundamental shift of enterprise strategy andmanufacturing paradigms in organization. |
