Deep foundation pit is a complicated and systemic project, whose design faces the contradiction between reliability and economy, so optimization design of deep foundation pit was proposed. Because traditional optimization design method can't meet the demands of practice, intelligent optimization design method of deep foundation pit was introduced. Based on forepassed research, the optimization selection of deep foundation pit scheme and the optimization design method of structure have been deeply studied, and the application of intelligent optimization design method in deep foundation pit has been discussed.Firstly, the basic theory, computation steps and disadvantages of simple genetic algorithm are summarized, and the basic theory and computation method of advanced complex genetic algorithm are illustrated. At the same time, the basic theory and computation steps of simulated annealing algorithm have been introduced. Furthermore, its disadvantages have been deeply analyzed. According to its disadvantages, combining complex method with simulated annealing algorithm, a new type of intelligentcomputation method-complex simulated annealing (CSA) is put forward. Secondly,the common types of deep foundation pit are summarized, with a brief description of its character and applicability. The principles and basis of deep foundation pit supporting type optimization selection are analyzed. Based on the analysis of disadvantages of its traditional optimum method, a case-Based Reasoning method of Euclidean distance based is present. Thirdly, cement-soil retaining wall (SCRW) is usually designed on the basis of the trial and error method, which is not only complicated, but also difficult to find out economical solution. According to the disadvantage of SCRW's design method, the optimization design method of SCRW has been discussed, and an optimization mathematic model for CSRW has been set up, genetic algorithm (GA) and CSA have been introduced to optimize the design of CSRW. The influence of CSRW's structure parameters on the optimization design result and reinforcement of passive earth pressure area inside foundation pit on CSRW's structure parameters has been discussed. Finally, the design theory of row piles supporting structure with one pivot has been analyzed, and an optimization mathematic model for it has been set up. Improved complex genetic algorithm and complex simulated annealing have been put forward to optimize the design of row piles with one pivot. What's more, discussion of the relation of moment and lateral displacement with bracing location changing has been carried out.
