With the social competition becoming more and more drastic, the higher demand is needed for the products of an enterprise. How to develop a product with higher quality and less cost is becoming the key for enhancing the competitive power of an enterprise. Dynamic balancing machine is an important equipment in the correction of revolving parts and machines. But, the design of it is still conducted by hand in China . Consequently, the quality and the efficiency of this kind of design are very low, which can't meet the rapid changes of the market. Now, some problems about the development and the implement of the CAD platform for dynamic balancing machines are discussed in this paper.First, according to the principle of soft engineering, we analyze the functional requirement of the platform, dividing it into many modules. Then the CAD procedure and the data stream based on the platform are discussed. The raise of the platform's architecture gives a solid base for the following development.Because of the compact relation between the natural frequency, sensitivity and the minimum achievable residual unbalance, which is the most important performance parameter of a dynamic balancing machine, research on the impact-analysis of natural frequency and sensitivity is showed. As a result, many improvement approaches are given. Then, this paper summarizes some design theory of support, measurement and driving system. Among those, introduces an optimization design method for elastic parts in the support system. The content above is the professional foundation of the platform's development.Detailedly describes the main technology that will be used in the implement of the design platform including the conformation technology of network, the technology of ASP.NET, .NET component and PDM. The content above is the technology foundation of the platform's development.Furthermore, some details about the platform's development are introduced including environment of development and run, main pages, the implement of eachmodule and the strategy of error handling.Finally, the paper summarize the whole design process of the platform, and point out some place to improve.
