Balancing shaft is one of the key components of car engine and its performance will have a direct impact on the life of cars. The strong vibration caused by engine's running makes drivers feel unwell and accelerates the aging process of the engine. In order to eliminate vibration, a balancing shaft for the engine has been added. Balancing shaft is the shaft with an eccentric weights. The vibration generated by the eccentric weights makes the engine to be balanced state.The Automated Dynamic Balancing and Hot-Press Machine is an automatic assembly equipment . Its function is to measure the AEB Balancing Shaft's unbalance ,look for the position of the maximum unbalance and drill a signed logo, and press the AEB balancing shaft into the heated gear with processing.Based on the entire equipment's working conditions and the processing requirements, the paper studied the mechanical structure system of the Automated Dynamic Balancing and Hot-Press Machine. First of all, various assembly methods have been analysed and the hot-press method to complete the assembly of the gear and the AEB Balancing Shaft according to the specific requirements of the equipment has been chosen. The expansion of the gear after the heating and the necessary pressure have been calculated theoretically and ensured through the engineering experiment that simulating the heating process of the gear. The turning point that the gear transferred from the course of the transient heat to the one of the steady heat and the optimal heating time determined have also been determined through the engineering experiment. Finally, the gear heating process has been simulated with the ANSYS according to the experiment results. The expansion of the outer wall of the gear and the temperature distribution of the gear has been obtained.The AEB Balancing Shaft assembly process has been framed and the general scheme for the Automated Dynamic Balancing and Hot-Press Machine and the work processes and the structures of its important components have been designed on this paper.According to the AEB Balancing Shaft assembly process and the structure scheme, the mechanical structures of the loading and unloading components, manipulator parts, hot-pressing parts have been designed base on the UG, and the optimization design method how to select the purchase equipments, such as the linear guides, the cylinder drives have been discussed.
