Construct The Ecological Landscape Of The Square Of City

With the development of society and city, the functions of sharing information and exchanging work production of square have changed into the functions of communication, meeting, recreation, commercial activities, entertainment and commemorating etc. However, no matter how the functions change, the participation of people is the core feature of square. But many of our modern city plazas don't focus on the recreation and activities of people. Instead, they take the architecture, sculpture or water landscape as the main displaying part and put people outside the scenery. Without the participation of people, the scenery will lose its meaning and become depressing site. In order to make our square more meaningful, we should re-consider the meaning of "humanity place" and emphasize more on the deeds and psychological needs of people to produce ecological landscape in cities.The ecology here, is different from the one in the meaning of life sciences , and it means to the meaning of interaction and the participation between people and the scenery. It not only reflects on the psychology experience caused by the environmental scenery , but also on the vigor andactivity given :y people in the scenery. The good environment can bring with happiness? the cense of security and the feeling of returning.As the people's acceptance and liking increasing, it will improve the rate of utilization of the environment greatly.The interaction of the two has brought about an advance in balance of the environmental scenery, which is a kind of ecological view.In the design of city square, the construction of the ecological scenery includes three aspects concretely.At first, in the aspect of the the material space and the human cultural view , the construction of the humanized function space and environmental facility can meet different demands of different people; secondly It entrusts the historical culture and spirit to the material shape of the scenery, and let people experience the historical characteristics in the city ; thirdly, in the aspect of pople's psychological consciousness , the city square gives a kind of easy , natural, harmonious environmental atmosphere to people , and provide people with a public place to relax, exchange and gather.The Tianfu square is a typical city square, and it have meaning of representing. Among my design experiment, I incorporate the construction tactics of three aspect to the reconstructive design, and realize the actual meaning of the ecological construction in the square design.
