With the intention to represent physical characteristic and transformation process exactly, modern analytical instrument assures people of knowing nature and rebuild nature constantly and profoundly. Every walk of life needs to control the production process and represent the quality of production by using analytical datum. At present, traditional analytical instrument is becoming more and more digital and intelligent. According to intelligent portable analytical instrument, the author did some research and designed the embedded intelligent platform for survey and control based on 80C196kc and LF2407A, and analyzed the difference and capability characteristic of the platform. Furthermore, the direction of the characteristic extension for the platform in the future was brought forward. Presently, the platform has applied to practical production successfully. The main contents of the thesis are included as following: Firstly, the definition and development of the analytical instrument are reviewed. The primary actualities and development points are introduced. The thesis discusses the development prospect of analytical instrument as the high-tech production and consequently advances author's research background and primary work. Secondly, according to the project named "Portable, Multi-component, analytical instrument, intelligent platform for survey and control based on SCM——Intel 80C196kc", which is studied by the combination of College of automation of Nanjing University of Technology and Nanjing Nanfen Analytical Instrument Limited Company, as a member, the author introduces the hardware and software design and the function of this platform. The platform adopts modularizing design including coding circuit,LCD,keyboard,A/D sampling,I 2 C bus memorizer,clock CMOS chip, and so on. This project has passed the new technology identification of Nanjing Economy Committee and won the Science and Technology Development 3rd award of Nanjing. It has been put into production and selling, and gains well social benefit and economic benefit. And in the simulation, the swing-up and stabilization can be obtained through both the methods, and the better performance can be obtained. However, the second method is more suitable to the real inverted pendulum than the first method. And then, aimed at the characteristic improvement of the platform, this thesis advances the hardware and software design based on LF2407A to fulfil the function of the above platform .It is proved to acquire good characteristic and meet the needs for production updating. At the same time, the thesis compares the differences between above two platforms comprehensively and analyzes the signification and necessity of the study for the embedded platform based on DSP. Finally, the thesis summarizes the author's work of both hardware and software and forecasts the future of the embedded platform for survey and control. Furthermore, the thesis points out several directions which need further research.
