With the west moving of the hydraulic and hydroelectric construction project gradually, most of the dam size locates in the alpine valley and the project has huge size, scattering arrangement, complex construction process and natural condition.In order to boost engineering benefit and decrease project period, we often adopt multi-engineering categories, multi-face parallel and intersectional construction which consists the complex and huge construction system.Rock-fill dam is flexible and is used in prevail. The construction of rock-fill dam has many characteristics such as the limitation of project period, various borrow pit, intermediate reserve, road limitation and so on. The excavation of filling element, traffic and transport, filling of the dam which are the core of the comprehend relationship in construction, have complex interrelation and have a direct impact on construction schedule, investment and quality. So modern information technology is used to provide the construction status quo in time and to establish the optimize construction scheme according to the actural progress. Advanced emulation simulation technology structures emulation model according to the internal logical and mathematical relationship and the real progress and action of system. It is helpful to make people realize and actualize complex system, make exact description and solution on quantitative result about the external system which is complex and consisted of several random ingredients.In design, construction and management of hydroelectric project, it is the main method to solve the described system problem by advanced emulation simulation technology. Basing on facing-object modeling thought and visible emulating technology, the writer brings forward intellectualized modeling, analysis the hiberarchy of rock-fill dam construction progress emulation model using the system analysis theory and method, the inflection of external uncertain factors on system planning and design and system operation, the relationship between each subsystem in construction process system.Basing on advanced emulation technology and facing-object methodology and aiming at the character that rock-fill dam construction process is disperse dynamic event system, adopt real time emulation method which according with constructional characters of this kind of project and push time course of system simulation by event step size method to real dynamic emulation of rock-fill dam construction process. The rock-fill dam construction process dynamic emulation system is made by VB, VRML, Solidworks, SQL Server2000's exploitation, carry out databank management on property through digital modeling on dam, borrow pit and road system, computer construction schedule by total process emulation theory, create construction visage at any time according to data which made by construction emulation computer, describe each visage and complex rock-fill dam construction system with three-dimensional figure and image in the screen, reflect each factor's function on dynamic change of construction total process bitterly. The result is rational and tallying with the fact, it provides important reference to project construction and management.
