Based on Jetta 5V 1.6L electronic injection engine, This paper , under the premise of not affecting all kinds of electronic controlled engine performances, has completed to rebuild its electronic control system, at last designed a set of the experimental bench of failure simulation for electronic controlled engine. Through the bench we continuously set various kind of failure of electronic control system to engine, observe affection of engine, gain relative data and wave map applying many experiment apparatus and quantitatively analyze affection which the failure causes engine. The contents are:1. The thesis expounds the structure of electronic controlled engine, the method and classification of failure diagnosis of electronic control system, and the principle of fault self-diagnosis of electronic controlled engine.2. It designs and develops a set of experimental bench of setting-failure,simply rebuilded to its electronic control system. The bench can continuously produce different failures of sensors , actuators, electronic controlled unit and circuits. And it can provide convenient inspect port and intuitionistic dynamic display board.3. In the paper an experimental bench of failure simulation is builded, which is based on Jetta 5V 1.6L electronic injection engine and the experimental bench of setting-failure, included many test apparatus such as Zhongcheng dynamometer & test control system, emission analyzer, fuel consumption analyzer, SY-380 fault diagnosis analyzer, OTC engine analyzer and multimeter .4. In the bench we make many failure experiment, adopt some appropriate fault diagnosis methods, watch the change of engine , record relative data, and according to data analyze affection which the failure causes engine. The paper emphasizes to analyze these experimental results, such as idle experiment, throttle sensor experiment, MAF sensor experiment, knock sensor experiment and oxygen sensor experiment.5. Finally it summarizes to all contents above and provides some consulting opinions.
