At present, Modern Automotive has become high-tech materials of mechatronics and hydraulics integration, in which the engine electronic control technology has matured gradually and as more and more obviously features of high-tech carrier.Currently, as the automobile application technology professionals, many Vocational and Technical Colleges put the engine electronic control technology as their professional core courses for teaching. In order to assist theory and practice teaching of this course, it is necessary to establish the simulation training system of electronic-controlled engine fault diagnosis. It will help the automobile application technology professional students to strengthen the understanding of electronic-controlled engines, mastering the common fault diagnosis and testing ideas, and judging the ultimate causes of fault through repeated simulation experiments. In addition, our teaching staff can be trained in the development of production, improve their own level of theory and practical operation. Therefore, the development and production of electronic-controlled engine training platform with high practical value and society value, which suitable for teaching and training in vocational skill.This training system chooses the representational 1ZR - FE electronic-controlled engine of Toyota corolla Laura for training system design. It combines with common fault diagnosis and detection ideas to research the fault setting principles and methods. Moreover it designs points of failure and determines the proper implementation methods for fault setting in order to determine the design plan.The design carries on fault simulation by combining with engine control circuit. It mainly uses the microcomputer and C language to design hardware and software of the training system. It completed the design of the control panel, display module, keyboard input module, the voltage output module, square wave module, channel selection module and other modules according to the need of fault points setting. And it compiled the system control program using C language. In addition, it completed the microcontroller and circuit system simulation by use Proteus, which is the microcontroller simulation software.The simulation results show that through matching the hardware and software can effectively set the actual fault. Furthermore the training system is stable, which can provide students with good learning platform for fault detection and diagnosis.
