Research And Implementation Of Vehicle Navigation System Based On VxWorks

The vehicle navigation system is a real-time navigation information system which is developed with secondary planet position technique. It emerges with GPS (Global Position System) and is a great technique revolution in vehicle navigation field. With the background of vehicle navigation project, this paper studies the application problem of real-time operation system in vehicle navigation.At first, this paper introduces software development and crossed development mode of embedded system. It explains the development system Tornado/VxWorks, GUI frame Zinc of VxWorks. The graphic developing technique based on VxWorks is studied deeply in this paper too.In succession, this thesis studies the basic concept and content of GIS (graphic information system). The frame and structure of vehicle navigation are brought through combining GIS with the application of vehicle navigation. This paper discusses the standard space data format Shapefile, and brings out a user data format of electronic map. The transferring method of the two kinds of data format is showed and the user data is used in our vehicle navigation.This paper mainly narrates the design and study of vehicle navigation function. And it studies the realization and idea of several key techniques in the system, includes map circumrotation, navigation position calculation etc.Finally, according to the software design idea discussed above, this paper introduces the basic course and method to develop display module of vehicle navigation using the Zinc graphic kit based on VxWorks.
