Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) is recognized as one of the very important solutions to solve the urban traffic congestion all over the world, ITS can improve the efficiency of transportation, decrease traffic accident, protect environment, reduce energy consume. Urban Traffic Flow Guidance Syetem (UTFGS) is one constitute part of ITS, and the In-Vehicle Information Equipment (IVIE) is the key to carry out the UTFGS. The In-Vehicle Information Equipment is constituted by many parts, and the quality of Electronic navigation map impact the use effect of In-Vehicle Information Equipment. But in our country, the time we began to develop In-Vehicle Information Equipment was rather later than foreign countries, and we didn't have definitude standard in develop Electronic navigation map, so the quality of this product occur huge difference. Because developing the Electronic navigation map come down to the secret and safety of our country, we can't hand the develop task to foreign company and we must develop the Electronic navigation map by ourself.Relying on the national science & technology tackling project "Development of In-Vehicle Information Equipment" and the 985 project "Development of Intelligent In-Vehicle Information Equipment", this paper carries on some traverse research on the Electronic navigation map, and did some beneficial explore in developing the Electronic navigation map which have independence intellectual property in our country.The first chapter firstly introduces the definiens of Intelligent Transportation Systems and the Urban Traffic Flow Guidance Syetem in detail, review the general situation of the develop of the Urban Traffic Flow Guidance Syetem all over the world, introduce some typical Urban Traffic Flow Guidance Syetem, conclude the feasibility and necessarily in developing the Electronic navigation map which have independence intellectual property in our country. At last, expatiate the research purport and research content of this paper.The second chapter, developing a Electronic navigation map is a syetemsengineering, relate to Geography Information Systems (GIS), Globle Position System(GPS) and the software and hardware flat roof. In this paper, we don't expatiate the substrate execution method of Electronic Map in detail, but introduce how to process a Electronic navigation map based on common Electronic Map, mostly involve the precision, data format, coordinate of Electronic Map, and some familiar position method used in navigation on board. Finally, confirm the software and hardware flat roof of developing a Electronic navigation map in this . paper.The third chapter, in this chapter, we firstly confirm the function of the Electronic navigation map uesd in In-Vehicle Information Equipment, adopt the delamination vector electronic map to storage every kinds of informations, considering the request of 985 project, such as voice control, analyse the habit of drivers, confirm the detail delamination information of Electronic navigation map. The topology structure of road network is the key problem of Electronic navigation map. We anatomy some common question exist in Electronic navigation map used before, such as can't express the action of car turn around, car guidance not in detail. To solve this question, we use the cocept of storied map, bring forward a double deck road netwok topology structure, including the main road express by mongline and the detail road express by crewel, realize the navigation form door to door. Considering the link up problem between the main road and the detail road, we use logical code to solve this problem, in the information of detail road node including the main road node information. Finally, this paper introduce the concept and realize method of bird view map.The fourth chapter, this chapter mainly study the application of the Electronic navigation map in the best route arithmetic. Researching the the best route arithmetic based on the topology structure of road network. Because the Electronic navigation map is mainly used in the In-Vehicle Information Equipment based on the dynamic traffic information, we must build a topology structure of road network which can apply the dynamic traffic information. In this paper, we bringforward a new concept------generalized link, include traditional link andintersection, it can minish the transmission data capacity in effect. Then we introduces the advantages and disadvantages of several classical shortest route algorithm, including the Dijkstra algorithm, Floyd algorithm, heuristic A* algorithm and so on. Besed on the topology structure of road network and the dynamic traffic information which have expatiated in chapter three, we bring forward a amelioration Traveler Character—Based Method(a amelioration TC-B Method), this method reserve the advantages and idealistic of tradition TC-B Method. Spurning the small section concept and ameliorating some problem not in reason. Especially, in this method, we consider how to avoid traffic jam in the least cost, it make this method become more reasonable. Finally, we brings forward its realization steps and realize in programme.The fifth chapter, this chapter expatiate the application of the Electronic navigation map in the vehicle monitor system, analyse the key techniques of the vehicle monitor system. We design the frame of the vehicle monitor system, select the General Packet Radio System (GPRS) as the wireless transmission system, based on that techniques, we authorized the vehicle navigation and monitor software, and do some experimentation in Changchun to testify the validity of the software.The sixth chapter.in this chapter, we summarize the achievements and the shortcomings, and give the expectation of the Electronic navigation map in future. The achievement includes:> Summarize the relate preparation on how to process a Electronic navigation map based on common Electronic Map;> Bring forward a double deck road netwok topology structure, including the main road express by mongline and the detail road express by crewel;> Research the expression methods of every kinds of traffic restrict informations based on the crewel;> Bring forward a amelioration Traveler Character—Based Method(a amelioration TC-B Method) , this method reserve the advantages and idealistic of tradition TC-B Method.
