Research Of Product Function Model Oriented Conceptual Design

The phase of conceptual design has great influence on the whole process of mechanical design and manufacturing, which makes the scholars at home and abroad take great interests in the researches on the theory, method and application of conceptual design. And it is one of the important problem. The subject of this dissertation mainly researches on the conceptual design process of product information model. It takes a product information modeling theory, that based on the standard of STEP.This theory adapts to the conceptual design system.for example the function information model of the grasp manipulator can be applicable with the other process of the whole conception design.First, the thesis described the concept, content, characteristic and processes of conceptual design and theories that concernes on such as functional structure and principle design. Then the thesis analyzes the technic and principle of information medel.and it mainly introduces the function information model technology, that can be .applied with base function model entity.and it introduces the content of the base function model entity and mainly analyzes the function information that based on STEP .So the base function information model based on the theory can be made.the theory of function information model can ply with the whole conceptual design and establishes a general design process model of conceptual design stage in mechanical design based on the description.In the end, the thesis put forward the theory of the function information model of the mechanism and discussed in detail the prodcess and methods.
