With the rapid development of automation technology, we have more kinds ofadvance device and technology to choose in building the modern factory. These choicesimprove the control level and effect. The modern automation technology is made up ofthose device which are connected to the computer include the PLC,traditionequipment,intelligent instrument,intelligent implement machine,bus system,operatorstation and engineer station etc. This is the distribute control system which we oftenrefer to. It has multi-classes architecture and each class has itself tasks. The foundationclass controls the field equipment and the second class configure the foundation class'sparameter, therefore, the second class can include all kind of algorithms and have moreintelligence.This paper study on the control system of TianDa Group's walk bean furnace.It hasmany equipment to control, furthermore, those equipment must tightly cooperate. Theycan differentiate to thermal instrument control and electric control. The typical processis "burning on the top of the furnace, and steel tube stepping up forward on the bed ofthe furnace. In the control process, we must cooperate with the other major professionaland find the special require, and then, we can choose the appropriate control strategy toform a organic integrated control system.Siemens PLC system is a flexible control platform. Its independence part areconnected by Profibus, therefore, we can use the remote I/O as same as the local. Theadvance diagnosis technology ensures the debugging process and save the checkingtime. The function block for special device in the step7 reduces the workload inprogramming. All of above embody the advantage of the message and controlintegration.The field debugging is the deepening of the cooperation of the theory and thepractice. Through solving the field problem, I have more deeply understanding thewhole control system. Various unexpected factor may appear, and they may influencethe whole or partial system to work. Accordingly, after we are ready for debugging, wemust try ourselves to find the problem and calmly think to find the dealing measure.The paper is to describe a electric machine integration system, this system indicatethe control system's developing direction. In carrying out the project, we have madesome useful explore, and have designed some advance control system interface for thefuture. Therefore, this system can tightly keep up with the development of theautomation technology.
