In this thesis, the developing history, function and topological structure of automotive network control technology is comprehensively introduced. The automotive network standard emphasizing particularly on different functions systematically is analyzed and the different main protocols is deeply discussed. After scanning and analyzing the developing trend of international automotive network technology and considering its application and development status in China, we have a conclusion that it is not benefit for the long-time development by purely importing technology. Quickly understanding and applying imported technology and developing automotive network standard of autonomous knowledge property right and exploiting automotive electronic product based on it is imperative under the situation. In the design, the protocol of CAN Bus network with high performance and low cost is adopted among many main protocols of automotive network standard. Technical regulation of CAN Bus network is lucubrated and Data Link Layer and Physical Layer in hierarchy structure of CAN Bus is described. Its basic concept and organizing rules and particularly represents the message, picture format, error style and checking error ability in CAN Bus are simply introduced. The subject is aimed at profoundly discussing the design scheme of four different classical automobile bodywork control network and providing corresponding topological structure chart. The third scheme is selected through analyzing and comparing the four schemes. After simplifying it, the four automobile lights control system is substituted for CAN nodes directly connecting to CAN Bus network and then to central control node. Then the automobile light control network based on CAN Bus is realized. After presenting a common design module thought for automobile light control network, the central node and the four automobile light nodes experiment circuit design and software debugging is completed. Then the automobile light control network based on CAN Bus is implemented. The node functional sketch maps and its main modular hardware schematic diagrams are also given in this paper. When this thesis is completed, the CAN communication in the experiment of automobile light control network platform has been realized. The result indicates that the data can be transported at 125Kb/S baud rate stably, accurately and credibly. The basic thought of this design can be also used in other distributed CAN control system.
