This thesis covers most of the research work that the author have done during her graduate student period. An implementation solution of automotive body network is brought forward in the thesis, and then some theories of the automotive network are introduced, the protocols of CAN bus, LIN bus and SAEJ1939 are studyed and analyzed. As an implementation example of the research results mentioned above, an automotive body network is described. That network is developed on Infineon's XC164&XC866 microcontroller, mixed programmed by C and assembly language. It is accomplished as a cooperative project between the research group and CHANGAN AUTOMOBILE, aiming at providing automotive network and protocol for CHANGAN AUTOMOBILE.In the first chapter, the concept and topological of in-vehicle network, the actual state of automotive network and the trend of its development are presented, and the scope, content and purpose of the research project are also introduced. As the theoretical part of the research, related issues about the in-vehicle network are studyed in detail in the second chapter. The class or category of the automotive network and the mainstream protocols of the automotive network are studyed in this chapter, especially the protocols used in the project (CAN and LIN).The third chapter to the sixth chapter is the practical part of the research. The author analyze the macro design of the automotive body network, the hardware circuit, the software architecture and the protocols of the automotive body network in these chapters. In the third chapter, two macro designs are compared and a final design is put forward. The contents of the fourth and fifth chapter are the detailed account of the hardware circuit and software architecture. The protocol based on CAN&SAEJ1939 and LIN is studyed in the sixth chapter. The fourth chapter is the detailed account of the hardware circuit described by diagrams and words, and it is composed of the schematic diagram of the left door node, the schematic diagram of the gateway node, the schematic diagram of the light node and the circuit diagrams of"the functional modules". The fifth chapter is the detailed account of the software flowchart of the automotive body communication network. The author pays more attention to the flowchart of the left door node, the gateway node and the light node. The author also explains the control mode of the automotive window control software. The protocol based on CAN&SAEJ1939 (be applied to CAN bus) and LIN (be applied to LIN bus) is...
