Because there are several advantages about the technology of CAD/CAM: good syntheses, more new technology and quick act, it is able to be satisfied with the requirement of the rigid market competition and the products required more and more by the customs for their quality,price, the time of supply, servicing in time, it has been one of the application technologies which are developed quickly.The thesis studies the development of the CAD/CAM system of the cylindrical cam. Its working principal is different from the plate cam, the framework of cylindrical cam which has the speciality of compact framework, small volumes good rigidity and transferring bigger torsion transforms whirligig into the follower's complicated movement by its curve figure or slot. But its application is limited by its complicated frame's designs a great deal of work about calculations the output response influenced directly by its precision of figures difficult manufacture ,and so on. Many people have study widely in the technology of its CAD/CAM in the recent twenty years. They have bettered its figure's method of design and technology of manufacture. The compositive system of CAD/CAM of parameteric cylindrical cam can improve its versatility , enhance its functions improve it's efficiency of design, which settles the question of its design and manufacture. In the Windows operation system, colligating Dynamic Link Library technology, Component Objects Model interface technology and Microsoft Data Access Objects database technology, applying Feature Modeling method and Parametric Design technology, the3-Dimensions windows graphical user interface style system is successfully developed by the second development of Solid Works with Oriented Object Programming tool Visual Basic 6.0. There are several outcomes in the system of CAD/CAM: (1) the designer can draw the SVA picture of the follower in according with the requirement; (2) it can testify the pressure angle, which ensures the movement property of the cylindrical cams; (3) the system can set accurately up the three-dimension model by Solid Works , on which the finite analyses and the dynamic emulation are based; (4) the system turns the result of design into NC code ,which is prepared for the NC manufacturing. |
