Direct current motor has the characters of rapid response, high precision, great efficiency, heavy load ability and excellent controlling performance, so it is applied into all kinds of closed loop and half-closed loop control system. With the development of EDA technology digital control system based on field programmable gate array FPGA presents a novel and effective strategy for realizing full-digital control of motor.In this system FPGA is adopted as central control device that charge signal processing. AD1674 is used as nucleus device of data acquisition system. Driving circuit use unipolar limited H bridges consisted of power MOS transistor. Arithmetic employs feed-forward control and feedback control to accelerate system response and improve control bandwidth in which feedback use fuzzy-PI arithmetic. We use VHDL language to program and program is configured into FPGA with ISP mode. In this system position loop, speed loop and current loop are proposed to advance dynamic characteristic and static performance.We create the model of system and make simulation with Matlab and SIMULINK software, so that present the guide for establishment of subsequent control strategy and design of control system, furthermore that preliminarily ascertains the several parameters of controller. In this paper we present design principle of hardware, discuss function of each circuit module, finally use high precision device to test this system and discuss the actual control result.
